A Brief Outline
A typical Reflexology session consists of:
Consultation - This is where you will be asked questions about your medical history as well as where the feet are examined and diagnostics are taken of what is seen on the feet. This is all for the purpose of putting together the best individual treatment plan for you. Here you will also be asked for your consent to be treated and for your signature.
Treatment - 2 different media are used in the treatment, namely corn flour and cream; each to provide a different slip on the skin, making it easier to get into the reflexes.
The first reflexology session lasts between 1 & 1.5 hours.
All subsequent sessions are only an hour as there is no consultation, except to get feedback on what has occurred during the time elapsed between the last session and the current session; and to examine the feet once more.
